Toy exchange

I just wanted to write a quick post about the toy exchange my friend Jarrah and I did this week. Gavin and I picked out 10 toys he thought he could do without for a month and bagged them up. I have to say I was really proud of him when it came to picking out toys. He picked out many of his favorite toys because he thought Isaiah and Elias would like them. He never once voiced concern over missing them or being worried about the boys breaking them. Anyway we had a play date at the park yesterday and before we went home we exchanged toys. Gavin was very excited when we got home going through the bag. It was like Christmas morning. Lilah really enjoyed it as well. I had a hard time tearing them away to eat dinner and get ready for bed. Anyway I just have to say this has been so great and it also gives Jarrah and I an excuse to make sure we get together in a month. With our busy lives too much time goes by in between visits. I will let you know how the next one goes if we decide to do it again next month. It is a lot cheaper then buying new toys that's for sure!! Thanks boys (Isaiah and Elias)!
