As most of you know Gavin has been in Karate for about six months now. I have been so impressed with the school he attends, United Studios of Self Defense. They really teach the kids about marital arts, focus, and respect. It isn't just a place for kids to run around to get their energy out... it is so much more. It is very structured and the Sense's are so great at finding that medium between having fun and teaching the kids to focus and and listen. I can't say enough positive things about Gavin's experience so far. And I have to say he has never complained about going which really sums it all up. Anyway he moved up again today to Orange belt and I am so proud of him. He was so excited and really feeling good about his accomplishment. So way to go Gavin! We are so proud of you!

ORANGE belt?!?!? He'll be a black belt in no time! What a fun activity for him & he is so cute in his uniform! Congrats, Gavin!

That's great, good for him. I've heard a lot of really good things about putting kids in karate and the respect and self discipline they develop.
Congratulations Gavin!! Maybe when we come to visit Uncle Shawn would love to see some of your moves, I know I would.
