The Meadow!

We went to the meadow below our house yesterday. I love to go here and let the kids run around while I relax on a blanket. It reminds me of the meadows I had growing up. I feel like it is our own secret place even though I am sure everyone knows it's there no one else seems to love it as much as we do. It is some property owned by the church so we aren't trespassing or anything. Sometimes we kidnap a neighbors dog for the afternoon and take him exploring with us. During the spring there are tons of wild flowers the kids enjoy picking. However yesterday it was tons and tons of fox tails. I think that is what you call them. Those annoying little weeds that get all stuck in your shoes. Lilah wasn't bothered so much, but as you can see from the pictures, Gavin was very irritated by them and stopped every couple minutes to pick them out even though I assured him he would get more the minute he got up and started walking again. It was a little more drama then I hoped for, but the weather was beautiful! ;)
